Description

This code calculates the snow cover heat transfer coefficient from a time series of snow depth provided in an Excel file. It models the snowpack as layered, assigns thermal properties based on snow accumulation, and accounts for density changes due to melting and new snowfall. The main output is a time-dependent heat transfer coefficient (H_tot_meltset) used for ground heat transfer analysis in NSB26 and DBMC26 conference papers by Siim Lomp et al.
