Validated series and design labels with material intensities for Soviet-era mass housing in Estonia

This dataset provides the labelled building dataset and the material-intensity coefficients used to develop and evaluate a tiered, data-adaptive classification of the Estonian apartment building stock.

Classification dataset (validated_dataset.csv): 1,868 apartment buildings with expert-validated building-series and standard-design (tüüpprojekt) labels. Each building is identified by its Estonian building register (Ehitisregister) code and described by openly available register attributes: number of staircases and above-ground floors, construction year, external wall type, apartment counts by number of rooms, floor and façade areas, and footprint geometry.

Material intensities and panel counts: per-design (Tier 3), per-archetype (Tier 2) and whole-stock (Tier 1) material intensities for concrete, lightweight concrete, cement, steel, timber and brick, derived from archival Soviet standard-design passports, plus prefabricated-panel counts for the 111-121 series. Units (m³/m², kg/m², pcs/m²) are given in the column headers.

Building attributes originate from the open Estonian building register (Ehitisregister); material quantities and panel counts were transcribed from archival standard-design documentation.
