Sea surface temperature analysis in the Baltic Sea

Description
This analysis examines sea surface temperature (SST) dynamics over the Baltic Sea and Pärnu Bay from 01.01.2013–31.12.2022. Using data extracted from the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS), it focuses on:
- The number of average days in a year when SST exceeds a reference temperature (T0).
- Year-month mean SST time series for both the Baltic Sea and Pärnu Bay.
The extracted data includes precise coordinates and variables, such as seawater potential temperature (thetao) at a depth of 1.5 meters. The analysis highlights temporal trends and temperature variability, with visualizations generated using Python script generated by ChatGPT model 4o. This work contributes to understanding the region's SST patterns over a decade.
