Description

This dataset contains in situ measurements of water flow velocity, flow direction, and water level from pressure collected in Varna Port using Hydromast sensors from 18. February 2025 until 18.May 2025. The measurements are made in three stations along the northen channel connecting Lake Varna and the Black Sea (channel 3). The data consists of one-minute average water flow velocity, flow direction, and water level. The false data recordings and missing values, identified by data quality assurance filters, were removed and replaced with NaN (Not a Number) values for further analysis. The original measurements were conducted with sampling frequency of 50 Hz, and are available on request. The Hydromasts used measure current velocity between 0.06 and 0.6 m/s, all velocities outside the measurement range have been removed.
